The company provides IT services to the food industry and commercialises a very innovative software solution for record keeping, controls and traceability. FoodReg Malaysia Sdn Bhd was established in 2005 as an MSC Status company and is currently expanding its operations in Malaysia. FoodReg Malaysia’s development team works closely together with the Technical Department in Spain. We are located in Cyberjaya. We are looking for an exceptional individual who can help our palm oil industry clients improve their businesses through enhanced good and sustainability practices and food safety in palm oil production and the use of advanced technology:

Industry Consultant


Responsibilities: With deep knowledge of the Malaysian palm oil and food industries and broad experience, this person should act as the technical interface between our company and our clients. The successful candidate will be energetic, flexible, innovative and a good team player. This will be an exciting and challenging job, with chance to play an important role in the palm oil industry.
1. Conduct training at client’s sites
2. Assign and supervise tasks of Research Assistants
3. Review and evaluate tasks carried out of Research Assistants
4. Provide support to Research Assistants and clients
5. Compile and review all documents after each deployment to clients
6. Prepare a summary report for each deployment
7. Prepare necessary documents and materials before deployment to clients
8. Control and monitor progress of deployment of own team
9. Report progress to Project Coordinator after each deployment
10. Communicate with Project Coordinator on the arrangement for accommodation, transport, training dates, location, etc
11. Control, verify and consolidate claims of team members on monthly basis
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Plantation Management
2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
2. Required skills(s): Knowledge on RSPO and food safety, understanding of business operations and strong communication skills
3. Preferred skills(s): Writing skills, excellent presentation skills, confident with IT systems
4. Required language(s): English
5. Applicants must be willing to travel extensively in Malaysia

For Research Assistant;

Responsibilities:
1. Review documents provided by clients before data entry services
2. Provide data entry services to clients
3. Check and ensure accuracy of data entered / documents attached
4. Finalize data entry with users and sign off by users
5. Compile all documents after each data entry services
6. Complete data entry services as per planned
7. Report progress to Team Leader
8. Assist in the preparation of documents before deployment
9. Submit project claims on monthly
10. Assist in other administrative matters
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Plantation Management or Science
2. Fresh graduate with positive attitude
2. Required skills(s): Knowledge on RSPO and plantation management
3. Preferred skills(s): Computer literate, good interpersonal and communication skills
4. Required language(s): English
5. Applicants must be willing to travel extensively in Malaysia
